Hi and welcome to my site! My name is Shannon and I am a former teacher turned stay at home mom with a Master’s degree of two little boys, Jackson (4) and Sawyer (9 months). My very supportive husband’s name is Adam.

Being a stay at home mom can be lonely and that feeling of loneliness was amplified when COVID hit and I truly started staying home rather than doing daily outings with my boys. I turned to social media to connect with other parents of preschool children and when we chose to keep my four year old at home in the fall rather than send him to in person preschool, Mommy’s Preschool was created.

I am passionate about early childhood education via play and gentle parenting. I hope that you can find ideas that spark inspiration for you to use in your own home with your littles to help them grow.
